Wow, this is a story that I can't wait to tell our kids!  Well, my very good friend, previous roommate, and now bridesmaid, Tami, kept telling me that I just had to meet this "great guy" Joel.  She seriously talked to me about him for months.  At the end of February (2008) she went (with her now husband) to Key West for a mutual friends wedding.  Of course, as God would have it, hers and Daniel's roommate was Joel.  By the beginning of her second day there she called me and said "you need to talk to someone".  Joel was on the other end of the phone.  He was very charming and witty.  We talked for a while, when it was time to get off the phone I gave him my number and he said he would call and text.  Little did I know that we would talk, text and flirt for the next 5 days while he was in Key West.  As his trip came to a close we both decided that we needed to see where this was going and agreed to go on a date the very same day he got back.  I picked up Tami and Daniel from the airport, as soon as we got home I was a nervous wreck!  What was I doing?  I haven't even seen this guy!  Well, we went out on our first date March 3, 2008.  He took me for sushi and prayed before our meal and I was officially done.  Now 3 1/2 years later, I get to marry my best friend and the "great guy" that God hand picked for me!  God is so good and faithful!

Our wedding will be held on September 3, 2011 at Tanoan Country Club.  We are so excited to begin this incredible journey and can't wait to see what God has in store for us.  Both Joel and I are excited to spend our special day with those that we love, but most importantly to have our union blessed by God. 

Joel and I would like to first thank God for blessing us with each other.  Second, we would like to say thank you to our parents.  Charlie and Laura, Edward and Susie; thank you so much for everything that you have done for us.  Without you none of this would have ever been possible.  Of course to our amazing wedding party, thank you for being there for the both of us in your own unique ways.  Past, present and future.  Finally thank you to all of our family and friends, we love you all and can't wait to see you on September 3rd!
